Bodil Renblad is a life coach and the founder of The Gilded Method™, a personal development program designed to help individuals navigate major life challenges through intentional reconstruction. Drawing on her background in psychology, pedagogy, and religious science, she focuses on practical, no-nonsense guidance that emphasizes authenticity, self-knowledge, and persistent effort. Bodil’s approach, which she calls being a Resilience Architect, highlights the beauty of rebuilding a life with “gold in the seams,” transforming adversity into growth.

Before founding The Gilded Method™, Bodil earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology with coursework in philosophy and religious science from Linnaeus University and also studied Religious Science at the University of Gothenburg. After graduation in 2019, she worked as a project manager for a subcontractor serving SDG&E in San Diego, overseeing crews and operational tasks. Her personal experiences, including the loss of her father, a divorce, and a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, inspired her to apply her expertise to help others facing transformative life events.

Since launching The Gilded Method™ less than six months ago, Bodil has been solely responsible for developing programs, courses, and content to guide clients through intentional life reconstruction. Her work integrates her academic knowledge with lived experience, creating practical tools for people to regain control and thrive after significant life disruptions. Bodil’s mission is to empower individuals to see their potential, overcome adversity, and rebuild stronger, more resilient lives.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I would probably say my parents and my stubbornness. That's where everything starts - it's with your parents, right? And if they do it right, you're gonna have good work ethic, and you're just gonna keep going. I'm extremely stubborn, and sometimes that can be a fault, but I also believe that helps me a lot, especially with everything that I have gone through in life. Being stubborn and just having that work ethic put into my spine growing up is what really helps me today, to be honest with you. It's what helped me get through my dad passing away, my divorce, and being diagnosed with MS, and then building from that and coming back from that.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to always believe in yourself, even when progress feels slow, because persistence and self-belief are what turn goals into reality.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering life coaching is to never give up and to trust in their own worth—don’t let anyone make you feel you’re not enough, because everyone has greatness within them that just needs to be brought out.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I feel like helping people is really what I want to do, which I believe is a great opportunity. Just to be there with my knowledge and my degree and my past, I feel like that's a great opportunity for me to put out there to help people. You can do what people like Tony Robbins are doing - maybe on a smaller scale - talking to people, inspiring people. I feel like that's a good opportunity.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

You gotta be true to yourself, know your limitations, but also realize that if you don't put yourself out there, nothing's gonna come from it. Even though it's hard, you've got to get up and get dressed every day, because that's the first step. And then you're just gonna have to see what happens, because anything can happen. You gotta put yourself out there, because otherwise you're just gonna get stuck. I know all about that because I was in a frozen phase for so long because I just couldn't function. But I still got up every day and got dressed, and eventually that's gonna ease up and it's gonna be easier. So just don't give up, that's all I gotta say - you can't give up.
