About Brandi

I am a banking and community development leader with over a decade of experience in retail banking, branch management, and economic empowerment, currently serving as Vice President of Small Business Development and Community and Economic Development at Midwest BankCentre in St. Louis, Missouri, a role I stepped into in June 2026. In this position, I serve as a trusted advisor for small businesses and nonprofits in North St. Louis County, collaborate with community organizations and economic development partners to enhance financial readiness, and advocate for initiatives that promote economic empowerment and shared prosperity.

Prior to this role, I served as AVP and BankCentre Development Leader at Midwest BankCentre for nearly three years, where I led and managed dual branches in the North County Community, opened a de novo branch from the ground up, operated a cashless branch with digital ITM functions, cultivated relationships with new and existing customers, served as a role model and mentor to team members, and managed risk and growth as defined by sales goals and successful audits.

Before joining Midwest BankCentre, I spent over four years at Neighbors Credit Union in progressively responsible roles, including Market Manager, where I managed functions and team members at the branch, oversaw branch profitability and sales, developed and maintained a quality loan portfolio, ensured operational integrity and compliance, and managed coaching, development, and performance of team members. I also served as Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, deepening my expertise in personal banking, financial transactions, and people management.

Earlier in my career, I spent over eight years at Associated Bank as Teller Supervisor, Senior Teller, and Bank Teller, and served as a Bank Teller at U.S. Bank for over two years. I also served as Assistant Retail Store Manager at Dots Clothing for nearly two years.

I hold a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management and Services from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from Lindenwood University.

Across my career in banking, community development, and leadership, my work has been driven by a commitment to financial inclusion, economic empowerment, and building strong, resilient communities. Whether I am advising small businesses, leading branch teams, or opening new banking locations, I bring a people-centered approach, strategic vision, and a dedication to making a positive impact on the communities I serve. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue advancing economic opportunity through my work at Midwest BankCentre.
