Brandi Larkey

Brandi Larkey is an experienced education consultant and learning-support specialist with 23 years in secondary education at a Catholic high school. Her first 12 years were spent exclusively teaching Latin, followed by 11 years directing a program for special needs learners, where she created the program. For the past two years, she has owned Edify School Solutions, an educational consulting business, and currently works privately as a tutor and educational coach. She earned a bachelor's degree in classical studies and dramatic arts, and a master's degree in education from the University of Kentucky. She works with the Kentucky World Language Association, where she served on the board of directors for three years and remains a member, and is also a member of the Kentucky Classics Association. Her advice to young women entering the field is that a passion for teaching is not enough; one must also cultivate a passion in at least one personally motivating subject.
