I am Brandi McLees, an accomplished Delivery Operations Manager and PMO leader with over a decade of experience at Hitachi Solutions America. Before stepping into my current role, I spent nearly ten years helping build and transform Hitachi’s Project Management Office. As a CB-PMO–certified professional, I helped build foundational PMO structures—including governance frameworks, methodologies, templates, and communication strategies—advancing organizational maturity.

I wholeheartedly dedicate my journey toward excellence to my extraordinary single mother. Her steadfast strength, resilience, and unwavering support have been the foundation of my accomplishments. Despite the challenges she encountered, her determination and love have instilled in me the values of diligence and perseverance. What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to "never stop learning." This simple yet profound guidance has fueled my drive to continuously seek knowledge and skills, allowing me to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. It has taught me that success is not a destination but a journey of perpetual growth and adaptation.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To young women entering the industry, I would say: embrace your unique perspective and let it guide you. Be proactive in seeking opportunities to learn and innovate, and don't be afraid to challenge the status quo. Build a network of mentors and peers who inspire and support you and always lead with purpose and integrity. Remember, your voice and contributions are invaluable.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges in our field are also our greatest opportunities. Rapid technological advancements demand continuous learning and adaptation, but they also open doors to innovate and redefine industry standards. By embracing these changes with a proactive mindset, we can lead transformative initiatives that not only address current challenges but also pave the way for future success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In both my professional and personal life, I prioritize integrity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence. I strive to lead with purpose and cultivate environments where positivity and collaboration can thrive. These values not only propel me toward success but also enable me to uplift others and contribute to the greater good.
As a mother to four daughters—two of whom are stepdaughters, with three now young women and one becoming a young lady—I am dedicated to being a positive and influential role model. I aim to be a voice of reason in their lives, demonstrating the power of a successful, empowered woman. I am committed to reinforcing their potential and encouraging them to pursue their dreams with confidence.
Additionally, as a mother to a son, I am devoted to instilling in him an appreciation and comfort with strong, successful women. I want him to grow up understanding the value of equality and respect, and to embrace the strength and achievements of the women in his life.
Throughout this journey, I am grateful for the unwavering support of my husband, who has been a steadfast partner in cultivating a nurturing and empowering environment for our family.
