Brandi Nielsen

Brandi Nielsen is an accomplished entrepreneur, certified dog trainer, and business owner based in Cedar City, Utah. In 2021, she co-founded Mindful Canine Dog Training & Behavior, where she now serves as Owner and Operator, leading website development, SEO, reputation management, social media, client management, community engagement, workshop instruction, and the creation of training programs and materials. After her co-founder departed in 2025, she assumed full operational responsibility, including bookkeeping, accounting, and business management, and expanded offerings to include group classes, CGC testing, training equipment sales, and staff hiring. She also co-founded Iron Paw, Southern Utah's first official GRC Dog Sport club, in 2023. She is CPDT-KA certified, a member of IACP, a CGC evaluator, and CPR certified. Her earlier career includes serving as Retail Store Manager at Petsense, where she was promoted from Sales Associate to Store Manager in just over two years and achieved consistent year-over-year sales growth, and as Farm Staff at Red Acre Farm, where she gained cross-departmental experience in small business operations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Southern Utah University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Her career reflects a deep commitment to animal care, community involvement, and building a business rooted in education, accountability, and genuine care.
