4. Build Resilient, Diversified Revenue Streams
5. Prioritize Relationships Over Transactions
6. Keep Learning—and Encourage Curiosity
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't just have a seat at the table, OWN Your Seat at the Table by CREATING THE TABLE for others to join you!
You may walk into rooms where you’re the youngest—or the only woman—but don’t shrink yourself. Your voice, ideas, and perspective are valuable. Confidence comes not from knowing everything, but from showing up, contributing, and being willing to learn.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Representation in Leadership, Networking & Balancing Career and Family
While women make up a large percentage of the insurance workforce (often more than 60%), only a small fraction hold executive or senior leadership roles. Breaking through the “glass ceiling” remains a challenge, as leadership pipelines sometimes favor traditional paths that historically excluded women.
The demands of client travel, sales goals, and long hours can be tough to balance with family responsibilities. Women often feel this tension more strongly, especially in the early years of their careers.
In short: The biggest hurdles aren’t ability—they’re access, perception, and balance. The women who succeed in insurance tend to be resilient, build strong networks, and stay laser-focused on growth opportunities.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values I hold most dear are passion and family. Whether it’s the adrenaline and excitement of Formula 1 racing, consulting with others or the quiet joy of time spent with my grandchildren, I believe life is meant to be embraced wholeheartedly. For me, passion fuels purpose, while family keeps me grounded in what truly matters most.
