In her current role, Breanna oversees all business office operations for a 170-bed skilled nursing facility, including Medicare and HMO billing, claims management, denial resolution, census balancing, cash reconciliation, and trust management, ensuring the facility meets financial goals while delivering high-quality patient care.

Breanna began her career in the skilled nursing industry as a regional managed care biller at Pursue Health LLC and later advanced to Business Office Manager of a 45-bed skilled nursing facility at Bayshire Torrey Pines. Through these roles, she has developed expertise in revenue cycle management, operational efficiency, and team leadership, consistently driving results and fostering collaborative work environments. She is committed to professional excellence, continuous learning, and mentoring others within the healthcare administration field.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Breanna values a balanced and active lifestyle. I attribute my success to my strong work ethic and determination. I thrive on challenges and am committed to seeing every goal through to completion, consistently pushing myself until I achieve the desired outcome.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always ask for help when needed and to never burn bridges, recognizing the value of collaboration and maintaining positive professional relationships throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay persistent and committed to your plan. Success takes time, patience, and a willingness to learn from every experience along the way.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is supporting patients as they transition to long-term care and ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications for that care. This presents an important opportunity to advocate for patients, streamline the process, and improve outcomes during these critical transitions.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my work and personal life are integrity, honesty, and clear communication. I prioritize kindness, maintaining healthy boundaries, and a commitment to continuous learning, believing that these principles foster trust, growth, and meaningful relationships.
