BreAnna Gross

BreAnna Gross is a dynamic and dedicated Head Women’s Basketball Coach at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, bringing years of collegiate and high school coaching experience to her leadership on and off the court. A driven and motivational leader, BreAnna is known for cultivating strong, disciplined teams and fostering a culture of perseverance, teamwork, and excellence. Guided by her motto, “Tough times do not last, but tough people do. The greatest revenge is success,” she inspires student athletes to push past obstacles and rise to their full potential.

Before joining St. Andrew’s, BreAnna served as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Dunbar High School and previously held multiple leadership roles at Coppin State University, including Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Director of Basketball Operations for the Men’s Program. Her career began at Catonsville Community College, where she developed players through intensive skill training, film review, and strategic game preparation. Her hands-on approach and deep understanding of the game have earned her recognition as a transformative mentor and coach dedicated to both athletic and academic success.

A proud graduate of Concordia University Irvine, BreAnna earned her Master’s degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching, following her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Early Childhood Education from Trinity Washington University. Beyond the game, she continues to embody the spirit of resilience and leadership, encouraging young athletes, especially women, to pursue greatness in sports and life. Her coaching philosophy centers on growth, character, and the power of rising through challenges, values that define her both as a leader and as a role model.
