What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience and hard work. When I moved from New York to Florida, I needed a fresh start and took an entry-level role in tech sales, thanks to my best friend who was a director at the company. At the time, I was restarting my career and committed to putting in the effort to grow, and what I invested in truly paid off. That dedication led to promotions and ultimately to leading a sales team that went on to win three consecutive quarterly awards—a milestone that reflects both my persistence and the power of teamwork.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to trust the process and lean into discipline. Success doesn’t happen overnight—it comes from being consistent, prepared, and fully showing up every day. I’ve learned to take failure out of the equation by focusing on the details, committing to the work in front of me, and trusting that the effort I put in will always move me forward.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to allow yourself to be vulnerable and remember that you’re human. Failure is not something to fear—it’s an important part of the journey that helps shape your character, build resilience, and prepare you for future success. Embracing those moments with openness will ultimately make you stronger and more authentic in your career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is the constant evolution of the SDR role, especially as technology and startups continue to reshape the landscape. To stay ahead, it’s essential to remain solution-oriented and adaptable, always willing to adjust processes and implement new tools or strategies. While this rapid change can be challenging, it also creates exciting opportunities to innovate, grow, and redefine what success looks like in sales development.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life center around teaching, mentoring, and investing in people. I find fulfillment in pouring into new hires and team members, helping them stay solution-oriented by sharing lessons from my own experiences. I strive to lead with a “yes” mindset rather than closing doors, always putting my best foot forward to create long-term satisfaction. Above all, I care deeply about the quality of what I deliver—focusing on impact and excellence rather than just quantity.
