BreeAnn Avina

BreeAnn Avina is an editorial and commercial hairstylist with a decade of experience in the beauty industry. She began her career as an EMT before transitioning to hairstyling, starting in salons in Orange County where she worked alongside high-end stylists. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she pivoted to a production company called Apex Studios in downtown Los Angeles, where she spent three to four years building connections and skills before going freelance approximately one year ago. In her freelance work, Avina handles photo shoots for brands, runway hair for models, weddings, and creative editorial projects with photographers and magazines. Her specialty lies in textured and curly hair, a skill honed under her cosmetology teacher and further developed through mentorship with Lisa Carson over four and a half to five years. Avina's recent highlights include participating in New York Fashion Week and having her work featured in Times Square.
