About Breeanna
I left home at 17 years old, determined to become someone useful to my community. I always felt that my purpose was to serve others and was eternally intrigued by health and science. My first job was a student administrative assistant in the school of public health at my university, where I developed an understanding of how health is studied and improved at a systems level. I chose to major in Nuclear Medicine Technology, a program that led to my acquiring a board certification and a purposeful, patient-facing career immediately after graduation. I've been in the healthcare industry for over 5 years in the clinical setting, serving individuals with advanced versions of preventable health issues. After winning an award for my impact as a healthcare professional at my most recent role as an NMT, I'm excited to be nearing the completion of my MPH degree. I hope to expand my experience to affect systemic change across the industry as a health policy analyst or similar role within public health.
