Her Interview
Ten minutes with Brenda
01What do you attribute your success to?
First and foremost, having a supportive husband who completely supports me in leading the company. Even if I'm in the middle of dinner and a client calls, he doesn't mind. My job is time-consuming with clients calling at 10 o'clock at night, so his support gives me the freedom to lead successfully.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
If you're not dressed for success, you won't be successful. This came from a boss in San Diego who required professional dress including pantyhose with no bare ankles. It stuck with me, and during COVID I dressed professionally every day while working from home, which shifted my mindset to feel more professional.
