Her Story
About Brenda
Brenda Williams is a seasoned entertainment technology professional whose career spans more than four decades in the movie theater industry. She began working in theaters at the age of 16, shortly after a brief experience in computer programming, and steadily advanced from cashier and concessions roles to leadership positions. Her dedication, operational expertise, and commitment to customer service enabled her to build a long and successful career managing theater operations, culminating in more than 15 years as a General Manager. Throughout her journey, she developed a deep understanding of theater management, team leadership, and guest experience.
Following the challenges brought on by the pandemic, Brenda embraced a new chapter in her career by expanding her technical skills through computer training and help desk education. She joined Vista Entertainment Group, a leading provider of software solutions for movie theaters, where she leveraged her extensive operational knowledge to bridge the gap between theater operations and technology. Her progression within the company—from Application Specialist to Support Specialist II and ultimately Senior Support Specialist—reflects both her technical aptitude and her ability to support customers with practical, real-world industry insights.
Today, Brenda serves as a Senior Support Specialist at Vista Entertainment Solutions, helping cinema organizations optimize their operations through technology. She is passionate about teaching, training, and mentoring others, with a strong focus on improving efficiency and empowering teams to succeed. Known for her collaborative spirit and dedication to customer support, Brenda combines decades of hands-on theater experience with modern technical expertise, making her a valued resource for both colleagues and clients across the entertainment industry.
