Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, intentional growth, and the courage to transform my life at every stage. I’ve learned to turn pain into purpose, challenges into clarity, and setbacks into opportunities for reinvention. My journey has been shaped by my daughters, my community, and my commitment to becoming the best version of myself one choice, one lesson, and one breakthrough at a time.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was that resilience is a skill. Learning how to keep going, even when I felt overlooked or underestimated, taught me how strong I really am. Success came when I stopped doubting myself and started trusting my own voice.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give to young women entering this industry is to trust your voice and never shrink yourself to fit into places that weren’t built for you. Recruiting is driven by intuition, connection, and empathy qualities that women naturally carry. Show up authentically, advocate for your worth, and give yourself grace as you grow. You don’t need to have everything figured out at once. Stay confident, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to walk away from environments that don’t value who you are becoming.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in talent acquisition right now is adapting to a rapidly changing workforce while staying rooted in human connection. Technology is transforming how we hire, but empathy, communication, and relationship-building remain irreplaceable. The opportunity lies in creating hiring experiences that blend innovation with authenticity allowing companies to attract stronger talent and allowing candidates to feel genuinely valued throughout the process.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me both in my work and in my personal life are integrity, compassion, and authenticity. I believe in showing up with honesty and treating people with empathy, whether I’m supporting a candidate through a career transition or guiding my daughters through life. I value growth and accountability, the willingness to learn from every experience, and the courage to evolve even when it’s uncomfortable. Above all, I prioritize purpose and connection building relationships, creating safe spaces, and choosing actions that align with who I am and who I’m becoming.
