What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through my work. One of the accomplishments I'm most proud of is helping a student impacted by developmental disabilities and who was also an English language learner develop functional communication skills through ABA therapy. Supporting their growth and independence was incredibly rewarding and reinforced my commitment to this field.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was, “The time is going to pass anyways, you might as well be learning.” It reminded me that growth doesn’t happen overnight, but every day is an opportunity to invest in yourself—whether through education, experience, or personal development. That mindset has kept me focused and motivated through every stage of my career.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In both my work and personal life, I deeply value authenticity, connection, and multiculturalism. I believe in showing up as my full self—whether I'm watching scary movies with my best friends, discussing psychology with my partner, or curled up with my pug Louie and a Harry Potter book. These moments reflect the balance I strive for: meaningful relationships, continuous learning, and honoring diverse perspectives in every setting.
