About Brianna
Brianna Waufle is the owner of a Las Vegas-based company specializing in professional holiday decor installs. The business designs custom Christmas packages featuring 20-foot trees with branded color palettes, snow animal scenes, wreaths, garlands, and displays for other holidays, providing long-term temporary installations from November through January for corporate clients throughout the Vegas Valley. She assumed ownership of the company, which had operated successfully for 25 years under previous owners, during a period of significant personal change that included marriage and an out-of-state move, successfully retaining the client base and building upon established systems. With a background as a Montessori teacher, Brianna draws on her experience with diverse cultural celebrations to create inclusive holiday environments and continues to work in education while managing the seasonal business around family responsibilities. She oversees a team of five returning employees and additional temporary contractors for installations and aims to grow the company by tripling revenue and securing placements in malls, hospitals, theaters, and sports arenas.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I definitely tell everyone younger than me who hasn't had children to get it up and running as much as you can before you have kids. It's not impossible, but I think I was taken by surprise at how much work and attention babies do need, and you want to be there for them. Just hit the ground running when you get an idea, and try to get as successful as you can before you start a family, if that's a goal of yours.
