Her Interview
Ten minutes with Brianna
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the strong foundation my upbringing gave me, particularly the self-belief, resilience, and determination to persevere despite being told that I would not amount to anything. Those early experiences taught me to trust my abilities, overcome adversity, and remain committed to my goals. Above all, my children are my greatest motivation and purpose, inspiring me to continue pushing forward, setting a positive example, and pursuing excellence in everything I do.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was simple: be on time. My supervisor consistently emphasized the importance of punctuality, reliability, and being prepared, and I took that lesson to heart. Over time, it helped me develop a strong work ethic, build trust with others, and become more disciplined and effective in my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering the industry to remain true to themselves and embrace their authentic voices. Success is not only about professional expertise but also about cultivating empathy, showing genuine care and concern for others, and building meaningful relationships. By leading with authenticity, compassion, and confidence, they can make a lasting impact while staying grounded in who they are.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field is balancing compassion for patients with the financial responsibilities of healthcare. Asking patients to pay copays while they are experiencing pain, stress, or traumatic circumstances can be difficult and requires sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism. I see an opportunity to improve this experience by approaching financial conversations with understanding and respect while ensuring that revenue cycle responsibilities are handled effectively and ethically.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are pride in my work, authenticity, compassion, and a strong commitment to creating positive patient experiences. I believe in delivering exceptional customer service by treating every individual with respect, empathy, and genuine care while remaining true to myself. These values guide how I approach both my professional responsibilities and my relationships with others.
