About Bridget
Bridget White is a leader in cyber insurance with five years of experience in the field. In her current role at Sophos, she has expanded her responsibilities globally, moving beyond incident response to include significant involvement in the pre-insurance binding side, assisting customers and insureds in obtaining best-in-class insurance. Previously, she led a team of about ten people on the front lines of incident response. She attributes her success to her ability to build strong relationships, her reputation as a hardworking professional and a woman of her word, and her capacity to execute when needed. Bridget is proud of advancing quickly to her global position at Sophos based on her expertise.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I can really pinpoint it on my ability to build relationships... showing up at the table and being a fun and just good person. But then also, when it came time to talk business, I could execute... building those relationships... reputation... people know that I am gonna get things done, that I'm very hardworking, and I'm a woman of my word.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Know your expertise and be confident in it. It's ever-changing, so just because somebody's been in the industry for 30 years doesn't mean that they're smarter than you... don't be intimidated by the tenure of some of the men... tenure doesn't really factor in anymore. It's really just how hard you work and how on top of things that you are.
