Ten minutes with Brisa

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to perseverance, continuous learning, and the support of mentors and colleagues who have believed in and invested in my growth throughout my career. My path has not always been traditional, but I have consistently challenged myself to step outside of my comfort zone and embrace new opportunities that promote both personal and professional development. At the core of my journey is a strong commitment to service—remaining focused on making a meaningful difference in my community and improving access to resources for others.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family is the most important value in both my personal and professional life. I believe that maintaining strong family connections provides the foundation for balance, purpose, and resilience in all that we do. No matter the demands of work or other responsibilities, I prioritize making time for family and ensuring those relationships remain at the center of my life. This perspective reminds me that life is both meaningful and fragile, and it is essential to invest in the people and relationships that matter most.
