Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering drive to overcome obstacles. My deepest motivation comes from my mother, a single teacher, whose perseverance and strength have always inspired me. I am committed to excelling in spaces where representation is limited and to paving the way for other young Black women to follow.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to remain resilient, trust the process, and keep moving forward, no matter the setbacks or barriers within the industry.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this industry to own their voice and presence in every room. Invest in understanding the business side of sales and revenue strategy, and focus on building authentic relationships and networks that support long-term growth. Leverage emotional intelligence and resilience as key strengths, and never let underrepresentation limit your ambition or leadership potential.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Right now, one of the biggest challenges in my field is navigating competitive, fast-changing tech sales environments while overcoming gender and racial representation gaps in leadership roles. At the same time, there are exciting opportunities, including expanding pathways for women in tech sales leadership, meeting the growing demand for relationship-driven and emotionally intelligent sales professionals, and leveraging career mobility across industries for high-performing account executives.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, perseverance, and emotional intelligence, paired with a commitment to building meaningful relationships. I strive for authenticity in leadership and view adversity as an opportunity to achieve and grow. I also deeply believe in the power of representation, empowerment, and uplifting others through success.
