Her Interview

Ten minutes with Brittany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to mentorship, people opening doors for me, and an unusually high work ethic. I also recognize that you can't be exceptional at everything, so having a good tribe and support system is essential when something has to give.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Say yes to the things that scare you. I used to have a public speaking phobia but hit my anxiety head on, which completely changed my life.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The field is wide open and we welcome you. Set your expectations and self-belief high. Don't change who you are, fully embrace your authenticity because society is starting to care more about our voice.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Insurance reimbursement not keeping up with inflation, making it hard to increase clinician pay. Turnover with administrative employees post-COVID. Gender disparity in key opinion leader space but welcoming more women. AI has been helpful.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Authenticity is extremely important. Faith, which encompasses kindness, humility, being peaceful, respectful of others. Servant leadership, being willing to do any task like taking out the trash.
