What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance and mentorship of Lindsay Dicks Penaranda, my former supervisor. She played a pivotal role in shaping my professional growth, challenging me to expand my skills, and helping me build confidence as a young professional. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities she provided and for the unwavering belief she showed in my abilities. Her support and encouragement significantly influenced my career development and helped me reach new levels of professional achievement.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering marketing to explore different areas of the field and experiment early in their careers to find what truly resonates. Once you find your passion, pursue it wholeheartedly. While AI and technology are powerful tools, they can’t replace the creativity, dedication, and human insight that make marketing impactful—so embrace new tools, but don’t lose sight of the human element.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in marketing right now is keeping pace with rapid technological change, particularly the adoption of AI. While some may worry about job displacement, these advancements also create exciting opportunities to leverage powerful tools that enhance creativity and efficiency in our work.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are passion, human connection, and credibility. I’m also deeply committed to supporting nonprofit missions that enable organizations to make a meaningful impact and do more good in the world.
