About Brittany

I am a wellness entrepreneur, creative writer, and art therapist with a deep commitment to healing, self-expression, and community. I am the Co-Founder of B3 Yoga and Wellness Center, a practice I established in September 2020 in Crest Hill, Illinois, where we provide an inclusive space for all people to honor their authentic selves and encourage a healthy mind, body, and soul through meditation, yoga, artistic and verbal expression.

I am also a writer, having worked as a creative writer since July 2017, and I am currently in the process of publishing a children's book and editing a fiction novel. My creative work is driven by a passion for storytelling and a belief in the power of words to heal, inspire, and connect.

Earlier in my career, I served as an Art Therapist at Lightways Hospice and Serious Illness Care for nearly three years, where I provided art therapy and counseling to individuals at end of life and those grieving. I also served as a Counselor at Trinity Services Inc. for over a year, where I facilitated groups and provided counseling services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enhance their levels of independence. I worked as an Art Therapy Consultant on a contract basis, providing art therapy to clients and sharing art therapy techniques and mindset with counseling professionals.

In 2017, I founded the Fine Arts for Finer Lives Charity Art Show at Lewis University, a charity art show featuring over a dozen artists and benefiting Trinity Services, Inc., with fifty percent of the funds going to the artists showcased and fifty percent going to the organization.

Across my career in wellness, creative arts, and therapy, my work has been driven by a belief in the transformative power of art, movement, and self-expression to heal and empower individuals and communities. Whether I am teaching yoga, writing a book, providing art therapy, or facilitating a creative event, I bring compassion, creativity, and a commitment to creating spaces where people can connect with their authentic selves and find healing and wholeness. I am proud of the work I have done and excited to continue growing as a wellness entrepreneur, writer, and creative professional.
