Ten minutes with Brittany
01What do you attribute your success to?
My family. I started off as a single mom, and I had just fallen into the aviation realm. I was really good at numbers and accounting, so I had my daughter very young, and I needed to make ends meet, and I found an accounting job at a small mom-and-pop Aviation company, and thankfully they hired me, and I just worked my way up. My daughter and my now my husband, they are both my driving factor.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My best advice is find what you love to do and go all in. Whether you want to be a manager, find manager books to figure out your management style. Just jump in, figure it out, and that's the best, is just finding what you love to do, and then it doesn't feel like work, and don't ever stop. Even if you're tired, you're exhausted, there's exhausting days, don't ever stop. Just keep pushing, because it's gonna be all worth it in the end.
