Her Story

About Brittany

I’m Brittany Granberry, an entrepreneur, digital marketing student, and business owner in the Tampa Bay area. I own Da Nail Trap, a licensed nail studio, and I’m also the founder of B. Chantel XIII, where I focus on digital marketing and brand strategy.

Running Da Nail Trap is really what made me pay closer attention to branding and marketing. I learned firsthand how important it is for a business to have a clear identity, strong customer experience, consistent content, and a presence people can actually recognize.

That experience pushed me to take digital marketing more seriously, which is why I’m now studying Digital Marketing at Full Sail University while also building B. Chantel XIII. With B. Chantel XIII, I want to help small businesses and entrepreneurs create brands that feel like them, make sense to their audience, and have room to grow.

I’m still building, still learning, and still figuring out what works as I go, but I’m proud that I’m able to apply what I learn directly to both of my businesses.

Ten minutes with Brittany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say being determined and being willing to keep learning. I have had to figure a lot out by actually doing it, whether that is running my businesses, going to school, or learning how to market and build a brand. I do not always have everything figured out, but I keep going, adjust when I need to, and learn from what works and what does not.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t wait until everything is perfect to start. A lot of what I know now came from actually doing the work, making mistakes, fixing them, and learning as I went.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be willing to learn, but do not lose yourself trying to copy what everyone else is doing. Build your own style, understand who you are trying to reach, and stay consistent. You are going to have to adjust along the way, but that does not mean you are doing it wrong.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think one of the biggest challenges is how fast everything changes. Social media, trends, algorithms, and even the way people find businesses are constantly changing. At the same time, that creates a lot of opportunities, especially for small businesses. You can build a strong brand, reach people directly, and grow without having to be a huge company, but you have to be willing to keep learning and adjusting.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family, loyalty, honesty, growth, and consistency are really important to me. I care a lot about building something meaningful, not just for myself but for my family too. In business, I want people to feel like they can trust me and know that I care about the work I put out. I also believe in always learning, growing, and trying to do better than I did before.
