Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to grit and stubbornness, or what I'd call a solution-oriented mentality. As a single mom who just moved to this state after living outside of the country, I don't have a network here or any safety net. I don't have the luxury of laying down. There's no one coming to save me, but there's no one coming to stop me either. That reality drives everything I do. I've hauled my way through every step of this journey, from my very first job at a pizza and sub shop to merchandising to where I am now as an account executive. I don't give up, and I always find a way forward, even when the path isn't clear.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is simple: we can do it. I often hear hesitation about competitive, male-dominated environments, but I encourage women not to doubt their capability. I am usually the only woman on my sales team, and while that comes with pressure to perform well, I see it as an opportunity to demonstrate what women can achieve and open doors for others. Women bring strong emotional intelligence, communication, and adaptability skills that are powerful in any industry. Rather than being discouraged by competition or gender dynamics, I encourage women to trust themselves, lean into their strengths, and move forward with confidence.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is the most important value to me. I think it's a misconception that if you're in sales, and especially if you're good at sales, you have to be a sleazy salesman. You don't have to be that. It's not all it is. I treat everybody like I treat my best friend. That's how I approach my work and my relationships. Building genuine connections and being honest with people is what matters to me, both in my career and in life.
