Her Story

About Brittany

I've been working in the wellness industry for about 3 years, with around 5 years of experience in medical, health, and coaching. What I love most about my career is that it doesn't feel like time has gone by - it's pure passion. I worked at corporate jobs before, and while I was passionate about helping people and serving them that way, now I get to be physically active with people, knowing that I'm changing and transforming other people's lives just by what I've been through and showing them that they can still go on and they're not alone. I create a lot of content on YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn, where I break down relationships, coach about nutrition and what to eat to stay healthy, share hair tips, and talk about life in general for mothers. I went to school for social media, so I'm able to reach people across multiple platforms. My biggest achievement is being able to share my life story and let people know that they're not alone - that's what drives me. I believe we're on this earth to be of service and be there for people. Communication is in everything I do, and I wanted to do something that inspires women to go for it and not hold back, especially young women, because there's a persona of what women should do and be like, and I'm just like, no - get your business and keep going.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Brittany

01What do you attribute your success to?

My major success is definitely my children. They keep me going, they keep me wanting to learn more, just to see their assignment when they come home. Kids are so innocent, and the things that they do push me to go harder. They push me to go for my dreams. They tell me to don't stop. So they have definitely been my inspiration.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Never wait on time to pursue your dreams. A lot of times, a lot of people deal with fear, and they just don't go for what they really want to do in life. If you're passionate about it, God put you on this world for a reason to do it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never stop. Don't quit on yourself. Know that you have somebody that's right there, that's empathetic about what you're going through, and I want to help them in every way as possible that I can.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think opportunities is just growing more and knowing what is best for our bodies, as far as nutrition. The more you talk and the more you're going out there, people can acknowledge it and see more potentially of what's best for our daily life, our daily routines. I feel like women should take 30 minutes for themselves - not just to get away from the kids, but once your kids are asleep, to decompress and have your little time, maybe put on some jazz music, read a little bit, and then go to bed, instead of just going to bed and routine. A lot of women are trapped in a routine because of mindset. A lot of women feel guilty, like, oh, I'm taking some time out for myself - no, that's time out for yourself, that should be every day.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Loyalty, peace, and love are most important to me. I value dedication, time, encouraging, and influencing in the right way. I think the biggest one for me is just being able to feel like you have that open door. Empathy is definitely big for me - being there for people and letting them know they're not alone.
