What do you attribute your success to?
I would say it is having a strong support system, be it school, be it tough days at work, with my boys. Having that support system, it's like I'm not one to reach out when I'm having a tough day, but it's like having those strong connections, it's as if they can just tell something is not right, so phone calls are made, or just the stop-bys are made, and that really, really helps. Those motivational conversations that come from that has really helped me a lot push through.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is the rapidly evolving technology landscape in banking, along with the expectation that professionals are already proficient in a wide range of systems. This creates both pressure to continuously adapt and a strong opportunity to upskill and stay ahead of industry changes.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life include having a strong support system, building and maintaining meaningful relationships, and contributing to community service. I also place great importance on family and continuous learning, as I believe they provide both grounding and ongoing personal and professional growth.
