Her Interview
Ten minutes with Brittany
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success is due to my manager at Ondium and the dentist I worked with prior, who believed in me even when I didn't have the background education, providing support when it was hard to believe in myself.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
This isn't about knowing everything, it's about being willing to ask questions, keep learning, and showing up consistently. Because oftentimes everybody thinks they need to know everything to do something before they start. But you're not gonna learn until you ask the questions and learn.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just keep learning and keep growing. Sometimes it's not always about what you know, but who you know, and who can help you learn things to advance in your career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Challenges include finding professionals who want to work, finding good fit practices for them, and the wage game where temporary professionals want higher rates while practices' hands are tied. Opportunities include a new wave of graduates using temping to find their forever home, allowing us to help match them well.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty and communication are most important. Without both, nothing can really work together. Lack of communication leads to frustration, and in staffing, honesty is key to keep things going.
