Her Interview
Ten minutes with Brittany
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first and foremost to God. My faith has carried me through every challenge and every opportunity. I also credit my family’s support and my determination to keep pushing forward. Being a woman in a male-dominated industry hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve stayed focused, worked hard, and never let obstacles define what I was capable of achieving.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of career advice I’ve ever received was from my manager during the hiring process for this role. When he called to offer me the job, he told me, ‘Always know your worth.’ That advice has stayed with me ever since.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. Believe in yourself, push yourself, and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. Challenge yourself, but also remember to take care of yourself. It may not always be easy, but it does get better.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are a lot of opportunities in my industry, especially as it continues to grow and evolve. One of the biggest challenges I face is working in a traditionally male-dominated field.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In my personal life, my faith comes first. God is the foundation of everything I do, and without Him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. That same faith carries over into my work life.
