Her Story

About Brittany

Brittany Wallace is a Senior Digital Strategist at Pannos Marketing Agency in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she brings nearly eight years of experience in digital marketing and advertising to her work overseeing campaign strategies, paid and organic media, and the mentorship of fellow strategists. A graduate of the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, Brittany launched her career in 2018 as an executive administrative assistant at Zag Interactive — a role she credits as the cornerstone of her professional foundation, having given her an invaluable top-down understanding of how agencies operate. That early experience, combined with strong mentorship from her first boss, shaped the strategic instincts and work ethic she has carried through every position since.

Over the course of her career, Brittany has built a diverse and well-rounded skill set through roles spanning both agency and in-house environments. She went on to contribute as a Digital Advertising Associate at Carnegie Dartlet, then spent three years as a Digital and Social Media Specialist at Brodeur Partners in Boston, where she also gained hands-on experience managing interns and developing emerging talent. She later served as Marketing Manager at The Dolben Company, where she oversaw branding and marketing efforts across 37 properties throughout New England, Maryland, and Florida before returning to agency life at Pannos, where she now works primarily with financial institutions across a full spectrum of marketing disciplines — from social media and website design to out-of-home and guerrilla marketing campaigns.

Beyond her professional roles, Brittany is deeply committed to continuous learning, community, and the advancement of women in the industry. She is an active member of the East Coast Beehive, a women-focused professional network for marketing and social media practitioners, and has previously volunteered with the Miracle League during her time at the University of Hartford. She holds certifications in Google Analytics and Snapchat Advertising, and regularly pursues professional development through industry conferences and coursework. Guided by the values of mentorship, authenticity, and collaboration, Brittany approaches both her career and her community with the same philosophy she offers to the next generation: be a sponge, ask questions, and never stop growing.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Brittany

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success largely to my first role as an executive administrative assistant at Zag Interactive. It was the most challenging yet rewarding position I have held, as it gave me a comprehensive, top-down view of how agencies and marketing teams operate. That foundation shaped my instincts and set the trajectory for my entire career. I also credit the strong early mentorship I received, my willingness to keep learning, and my ability to adapt and pivot under pressure.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I received came from my first boss and biggest mentor, Larry Miclette. He held me to high standards and pushed me to figure things out on the spot, but what truly made an impact was how he always took the time to explain the reasoning behind tasks. He taught me the importance of understanding the "why" — seeing how my individual contributions fit into the bigger picture. That perspective has stayed with me throughout my career.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is to bring your personality into everything you do — especially interviews. Be proactive about meeting people across your organization, ask questions without hesitation, and treat every single experience as a learning opportunity. Don't overthink it. Be a sponge, make genuine personal connections, and take every opportunity that comes your way. The more curious and open you are, the faster you will grow.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I navigate is working within legal and compliance constraints, particularly when serving regulated industries like banks and financial institutions. Every campaign requires careful review, which adds layers of complexity to the creative and strategic process. That said, I see a tremendous opportunity in cross-industry learning — many of the challenges we face in one sector mirror those in another, so sharing solutions and strategies across industries is incredibly valuable. I also see a real opportunity in fostering women-centered mentorship and networking, which I believe is essential to the growth of our profession.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Mentorship is at the core of everything I do. I believe deeply in the power of women supporting women — in the workplace and beyond. Continuous learning, openness, and authenticity are values I carry into every role and relationship. I maintain an open-door policy with those I mentor, make space for honest conversations, and try to lead by example. Whether through professional development, industry groups like the East Coast Beehive, or nonprofit involvement, I am always looking for ways to give back and lift others up.
