Her Interview
Ten minutes with Brittany
01What do you attribute your success to?
I've always been a really hard worker since I was young. My dad would make me get up at 2 o'clock in the morning to deliver papers, and from there I learned how to earn my own money, be independent, and never have to rely on anybody. I think that's how I've been most successful, by putting in the work, putting in the hours, and learning.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If they did want to go into this field, I would highly suggest that they start off in a coordinator role and really soak in all of the information that they're learning from their recruiters. Because there is so much work that actually goes into this role, and there's also a lot of opportunity for career growth, especially when you're working with different industries. Starting off and focusing on the knowledge, and be hands-on learning hard.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think just respect is most important. We issue respect to who you're working with and provide a good culture. That goes the same in your personal life as well. Communicate properly, and not everyone thinks the same way that you do, and that's okay. Having patience and respect and listening and communicating clearly is very important in having a healthy career or just life in general.
