About Brittany

Brittany Wills is the Director of Card Services at a credit union in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has spent 19 years in the credit union industry, beginning her career at a young age and advancing through roles including manager of card services at a prior credit union for approximately 14 to 15 years and manager of deposit operations at Y12 for one and a half years. In her current position, which she has held for one year, she leads a team of 10 responsible for the daily operations of the credit and debit card portfolio, including troubleshooting, card issuance, fraud and dispute claims, and process improvements. Brittany earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from King College and holds Visa certifications. She is passionate about payments because they are constantly evolving and she values transparency, positivity, and team building in her leadership approach. Outside of work, she volunteers with Adopt a Golden of Knoxville, a Golden Retriever rescue organization, and she credits good leaders and starting young with hard work and dedication for her success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Stick to it, don't let the hard days win. Always seek out ways to improve yourself and your skill set, because you're never done learning and growing.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family is very important personally. At work, transparency, positivity, team building, and leading with heart.
