What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my parents—they’ve always been in my corner, encouraging me to push harder, aim higher, and become the best version of myself. Today, my husband provides that same level of encouragement, serving as both my greatest supporter and my trusted sounding board.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
People work for different reasons and not everyone is you.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Find the right manager. I had the privilege of working for outstanding managers who saw strengths in me I hadn't recognized. Their support and challenges shaped me into who I am today.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
There are always opportunities in the building materials industry. The challenge is the "Covid hangover" is gone and now everyone has to work harder to get and retain business.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Balance & compassion. Take care of your body & mind and remember when dealing with others that everyone was new at something one time.
