About Brittney

Am a healthcare professional with a strong background in sterile processing, surgical technology, and customer service, currently serving as Senior Product Specialist at Censis Technologies, Inc., a role I have held since March 2025, where I leverage my clinical expertise to support product development and client engagement in a remote capacity.

Prior to this role, I served as Shift Supervisor at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist for over a year and a half, where I led teams and managed quality metrics in a healthcare setting. I also worked as a Certified Sterilization Technician at Aya Healthcare on a contract basis for two years, as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician at Cross Country Healthcare for eight months, and as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician at Moab Healthcare for four months, providing travel sterile processing services across healthcare facilities.

I hold an Associate of Science in Surgical Technology from Edgecombe Community College, where I served as vice president of my surgical technology class with the second-highest GPA, and a Diploma in Surgical Technology from Edgecombe Community College.

Across my career in healthcare, sterile processing, and product support, my work has been driven by a commitment to patient safety, operational excellence, and supporting healthcare teams with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Whether I am providing sterile processing services, leading teams, or supporting product development, I bring a detail-oriented, collaborative, and results-driven approach that has made a lasting impact on the healthcare organizations and teams I serve. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue advancing healthcare technology and product support at Censis Technologies, Inc.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I received from the Army is when given a task, say 'two weeks' and put your head down and work through it no matter what, even the dumb stuff or big deadlines. Don't stress it too much because the job's gotta get done.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be yourself and remember you have so much power within yourself but you don't have to be aggressive to be powerful. The most powerful thing is being helpful, turning frustration into relief by providing big help when people come with big problems, and always find a way to bring value and be open to help.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunity in technology is being a personable person and taking the time to build relationships rather than relying on robots or generic answers. Being personable will help you stand out from competition.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity and accountability are most important. I believe in holding yourself and the people around you accountable, being a person of integrity, and surrounding myself with good decent humans.
