About Brittney
Brittney Johnson is an Emmy-nominated multiskilled producer and lifestyle television professional based in Dallas, Texas. She currently serves as a Lifestyle Producer for WFAA’s Good Morning Texas, where she creates engaging lifestyle content, develops creative segments, writes scripts, books guests, manages production elements, and occasionally appears on camera. With a passion for storytelling and entertainment media, Brittney has built a career centered on connecting audiences with meaningful and inspiring stories.
A graduate of the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in African American Studies and Marketing, Brittney began her broadcast career producing lifestyle programming in Savannah, Georgia, before returning to Texas. Throughout her career, she has produced a wide range of content, including live broadcasts, entertainment features, food and travel segments, and special projects such as GMT Wedding Week, a live wedding series she helped create and launch. Her work has also included entertainment coverage, red carpet reporting, digital storytelling, and social media content creation.
Beyond her professional achievements, Brittney is passionate about using media as a platform to inspire and uplift others. She is the founder and Co-CEO of Linitless Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting young creatives in areas such as filmmaking, photography, music, entrepreneurship, and the arts. Guided by her faith, commitment to mental health and self-care, and dedication to family and community, Brittney encourages others to embrace their individuality, trust their intuition, and pursue their passions without limiting themselves. She continues to be driven by her goal of creating impactful stories while being a source of encouragement and light for others.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my passion and the support of my family. I knew from the age of six that this was what I wanted to do, and I've stayed committed to that goal ever since.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to trust my intuition, stay adaptable, and always seek to understand. Those principles have helped me navigate challenges, make confident decisions, and continue growing throughout my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to be different. Be bold, embrace your unique perspective, and remember that the sky is the limit. Success is rarely a straight line, so trust the journey, learn from every experience, and keep moving forward.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are my faith in God, prioritizing my mental health through self-care and inner peace, and staying connected to my family and community. These values guide both my personal life and the way I approach my work.
