Her Story
About Brittney
Brittney Willis is a registered nurse and spiritual guide with over eight years of experience at the intersection of healthcare and holistic wellness. A graduate of Molloy University in Rockville Centre, New York, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017, Brittney began her career as a bedside nurse before expanding her scope through travel nursing assignments across the country. A pivotal move to California during the COVID-19 pandemic marked a turning point in her life — one that challenged her, reshaped her perspective, and ultimately set her on a deeper path of self-discovery. It was through that journey that she recognized a calling beyond the clinical setting, one rooted in guiding others through the very kinds of obstacles and transitions she had navigated herself.

Driven by the belief that personal challenges are not solely one's own but serve as lessons to be shared with others, Brittney founded Navigating Life — formerly known as Winning with Brittney — a practice that seamlessly blends her nursing expertise with spiritual wisdom and astrological insight. At the heart of her work is the use of birth chart readings, which she views as a personalized blueprint for understanding oneself and moving through life with greater clarity and intention. Through this lens, she supports her clients in healing from childhood trauma, addressing health concerns, and making empowered decisions in their careers, finances, and personal relationships. She also operates The One Concierge, a concierge nursing service extending individualized, in-home care to clients across the Los Angeles and New York City areas.

She is a firm believer that fulfillment comes from the courage to act boldly, even in the face of uncertainty, and that true growth begins the moment one stops waiting for the perfect conditions to move forward. Whether she is delivering clinical care, facilitating a spiritual consultation, or creating content that reaches and resonates with her community, Brittney Willis shows up with purpose — committed to inspiring every person she encounters to trust their path and embrace their journey wholeheartedly.

Ten minutes with Brittney
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ambition and my constant pursuit of fulfillment. While nursing was rewarding, I recognized that something was missing — I wasn't completely fulfilled. That realization pushed me to integrate my spiritual and personal journey into my professional work, and that decision has truly been the turning point. The moment I leaned into that, everything began to flourish.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Do it scared. Act on your ideas even when you feel unprepared, when self-doubt creeps in, or when you feel like you don't have enough. The truth is, you have more than you think. The longer you wait for the "perfect" moment, the less likely it is to ever happen. Whatever vision you're holding onto — start now, because the only way to see the other side of your dream is to take that first step.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Start before you feel ready. Taking action — even imperfect action — matters far more than waiting until everything is perfectly in place. Doubt and uncertainty are part of the process, not reasons to pause.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The greatest opportunity I see is the ability to hear and hold space for people's stories while sharing my own. Inspiring others has been a goal of mine since childhood, and living that reality now is deeply meaningful. As for challenges, early in my journey I faced a significant fear of judgment — of being seen and wondering what people would think. But as I've grown, that fear has lost its grip. I came to realize that my vision is mine alone, and someone out there needs what I have to offer. The moment I decided to put my work out boldly and unapologetically, the momentum followed — collaborations, connections, and opportunities I hadn't anticipated began to come my way.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Loyalty, communication, and genuine connection are the values I hold closest. I also place great importance on professionalism and deep respect for others' opinions, cultures, backgrounds, and ideas. I believe that when we honor the fact that not everyone thinks or moves through life the way we do, it creates an openness that allows collaboration to thrive — in entrepreneurship, in corporate spaces, and everywhere in between. I also believe strongly in the power of speaking up. So many people don't receive what they need simply because they won't communicate it. Asking for help, naming a struggle, voicing a need — these are acts of courage, and they are essential to growth in any area of life.
