Brittney Young

Current Role
Part-time adjunct professor at St. Joe's University (beginning spring semester 2026) and a full-time lead teacher at a suburban Philadelphia school. She has served as a lead teacher in her current setting for 10 years and previously taught about three years in an inner-city school after graduating from college.

Brittany focuses on early childhood education with an emphasis on creative, hands-on learning—nature walks, science activities, arts and crafts—and on classroom routines that keep children engaged and supported. She values faith, positivity, and emotional resilience, striving not to take difficult interactions personally while bringing consistent energy to her students each day.
