About Brittney
Brittney Young is a marketing professional with nearly 12 years of experience. She currently serves as a Fractional Marketing Manager, operating her own business on a contract basis. Companies hire her to resolve marketing issues, such as revamping social media platforms, managing website and email campaigns, and executing event marketing to drive sales and engagement. After a series of events led her to leave a previous company, she took the chance to work independently and has found the role rewarding as a one-woman team. She is proud of building her practice this way and helping other businesses grow. Brittney Young has received recognition through a feature in Voyage Magazine and is based in Overland Park, Kansas.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't listen to the haters. There are always going to be people that will tell you that you can't do that and that is never going to work. Don't listen to them because those people are ones that wish they had the drive to do something on their own.
