About Brittni

Brittni Turner is a hospitality leader and consultant who owns her own consulting business, Taylormade Experience. She specializes in hospitality, the art of waiting, which she distinguishes from standard customer service by emphasizing the addition of love to create tailor-made experiences for every guest. With experience across restaurants, hotels, education, and legal administration, Turner is also the author of Restoration in the Incubator, Embracing the Process of Waiting. Her core values include faith as the foundation, along with excellence, authenticity, compassion, integrity, intentionality, and service, which she believes should form the basis of how professionals show up in every role. She encourages staying true to oneself and viewing work as an assignment to leave people better than found, rather than merely a job.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was to stay you, B U. People can feel how safe, how authentic you are, how pure you are. They can't deny the character of who you are.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would remind them that it's important for people to feel seen, valued, and heard. Be willing to give it your all. Do the best that you can do. You cannot change anybody. Don't take anything personal. Just show up. Your job is not just a job. Don't work for money. Look at it as your assignment so that you can leave people better than you found them and create unforgettable experiences. If you serve someone else, God gonna take care of you.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My faith is number one because that's the foundation of who I am. Excellence is also one of my values. It's about what you do outside of the role and being consistent in your attitude. Authenticity because people are looking for real. Compassion, integrity, intentionality, and service. Hospitality should be everywhere and the foundation of how we show up.
