Brooke Fleck is a results-driven professional with nearly a decade of experience in business operations, financial management, and data-driven decision-making. Her career journey began with an initial interest in entrepreneurship and hotel ownership, which led her to pursue a comprehensive business education to understand operational strategies, success metrics, and organizational management. Over the years, Brooke discovered a passion for working with numbers, analyzing complex data sets, identifying inconsistencies, and implementing solutions that improve outcomes and drive efficiency. She has earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Washburn University (2017) and a Master’s in Business Administration from Emporia State University (2019), and she is currently completing additional degrees in Business Management, Finance, and Data Analytics, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to education and professional growth. Brooke has also earned certifications in Python (IBM), Microsoft Excel (multiple levels), Root Cause Analytics, and Materials Management, further enhancing her technical and analytical expertise.
In her current professional role, Brooke oversees vendor contracts, negotiations, and amendments, managing complex relationships while ensuring financial accuracy and accountability. She resolves vendor issues, investigates invoice discrepancies, and is responsible for departmental budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analyses. Brooke’s work is marked by meticulous attention to detail, strategic problem-solving, and a collaborative approach that strengthens vendor and colleague partnerships. Among her proudest accomplishments is her academic success: she became the first member of her family, including her parents, to graduate college. Her father had doubted she would complete her degree, yet she proved him wrong by presenting her diploma to him first a defining moment that reflects her determination, resilience, and ability to overcome challenges.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Brooke balances a dynamic personal life as a devoted mother and recently married partner, raising two children while pursuing her ambitious educational and career goals. Her eldest child is preparing to graduate high school, while her younger child actively participates in multiple extracurricular activities, including dance, cheer, and gymnastics. Brooke is deeply motivated by her children, striving to set a strong example of perseverance, curiosity, and hard work. Looking forward, she plans to relocate to a new state and pursue a meaningful, impactful career that aligns with her passions and allows her to contribute positively to future generations. Guided by principles of lifelong learning, resilience, and embracing challenges, Brooke is committed to creating positive outcomes both professionally and personally.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to never give up and to keep learning continuously. Don’t be afraid to take risks, even when it feels scary, and understand that making mistakes is part of the growth process. Always ask questions, seek guidance, and focus on your own development, while tuning out negativity. Stay persistent, embrace challenges, and keep moving forward with confidence.
