Brooke Gulvas
Brooke Gulvas is a dedicated Disability Inclusion Consultant and the founder of JAM Agency, an organization she established in 2024 to support families of individuals with disabilities and equip churches to create inclusive communities. Drawing on her personal experience as a sibling to a brother with autism and as a mother to a son with multiple disabilities, Brooke combines lived experience with her professional background in elementary education to address a critical need for understanding and inclusion within faith-based settings. Her mission is to ensure that all families feel welcomed, supported, and valued in their church communities.
Before founding JAM Agency, Brooke spent 15 years in education, specializing in early childhood and special needs instruction, followed by eight years in retail management, where she honed her leadership and organizational skills. Through JAM Agency, she offers customized training, program development, and consulting services designed to bridge the gap between the disability community and churches, helping organizations implement practical solutions that create belonging and accessibility for all members.
Brooke’s work is deeply rooted in advocacy, faith, and community-building. She is passionate about helping families find church homes where they can grow spiritually while being truly seen and supported. Through initiatives like the Jesus Accepts Me Program, she educates congregations on authentic inclusion, providing tools and guidance to foster environments that celebrate diversity and encourage meaningful connections. Outside of her professional life, Brooke enjoys family activities, outdoor adventures, and living a purpose-driven life centered on service, faith, and inclusion.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to pursue what truly excites you without hesitation. Always stay true to your values—never allow your work to compromise your morals. Remember, your principles are far more important than any job.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field is helping people step out of their comfort zones to understand and engage with a different group. Change is hard, and it takes willingness to grow. The biggest opportunity is the strong need for inclusion—many families in the disability community are seeking support, and there’s a real chance for churches and organizations to become more open and welcoming.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are staying true to my personal morals and principles, and fostering a sense of community, belonging, and nonjudgmental support for families with disabilities.
