About Brooke
Brooke Korpi is the founder of Intention Driven Leadership, a venture she created to help individuals grow into more confident, authentic, and purposeful leaders. Drawing on her belief that leadership is rooted in influence and responsibility rather than title alone, she offers one-on-one coaching, group coaching, masterminds, and training programs centered on delegation and communication. As a John Maxwell Leadership Certified Coach and member of the John Maxwell Certified Team, she blends established leadership frameworks with her own life experience to guide clients toward greater self-awareness and intentional growth.
Korpi's path to leadership development has been shaped by an unusually diverse educational and professional background. She holds an Associate of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Itasca Community College, where she was involved with Phi Theta Kappa and the Society of Women Engineers, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iron Range Engineering, and a Master of Divinity in Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies from Crown College. Her service work, including ten weeks with Envision Chicago supporting underprivileged youth and a year with Envision El Salvador focused on youth ministries and girls' programs, deepened her appreciation for community, humility, and the responsible use of one's talents to benefit others.
Guided by the values of integrity, inclusivity, and intentionality, Korpi encourages the leaders she works with to release perfectionism, embrace change, and recognize the unique contributions they bring to their organizations and communities. Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds balance in family time, the outdoors, reading, and hands-on creative projects. Through Intention Driven Leadership, she remains committed to helping others move past self-doubt and step into more confident, purpose-driven versions of themselves.

Ten minutes with Brooke
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
I was once told never to discredit the value I bring to the table. Each of us carries a unique perspective, and the knowledge, ideas, and opinions we hold deserve to be shared and heard. Once I embraced that mindset and gave myself permission to be authentically me, it transformed how I approach my work, my relationships, and my personal growth.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice is to not let perfectionism hold you back from starting. Stay curious, and never stop asking questions along the way. Letting go of the need to be perfect and instead committing to continuous learning is what allows real progress to happen. Perfectionism keeps you stuck at ground level, but choosing to say "I'm ready" and stepping forward with humility is what opens the door to building something meaningful.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One challenge I consistently see is people's resistance to change and growth. Many of us are drawn to comfort and predictability, and that tendency can hold leaders back from developing further. Because the world, our technology, and our ideas are evolving so quickly, staying adaptable is essential if we want to remain effective and relevant.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Three values guide me in both my professional and personal life: integrity, inclusivity, and intentionality. Integrity matters to me because I strive to be honest, ethical, and grounded in my faith and beliefs. Inclusivity is important because I believe everyone deserves to feel included, valued, and treated with kindness. Intentionality keeps me focused on living with clear purpose and direction.
