Ten minutes with Brooke

01What do you attribute your success to?

Personally contribute my success to comes down to, like, your personal determination. I think the willingness to kind of be a sponge, like, for a bunch of years of your career, and kind of just take it all in and learn And just just sticking with, like, sticking with it. I think, too, What really kind of helped me was that being determined and sticking and sticking with it.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

So, the best career advice that I received that kind of put everything into perspective for me was To not be afraid to use your voice and speak up, you know? Like, were in a this is Women Influential, so were in a male-dominated industry. I think that the best career advice that I received was kind of the same thing that I said contributed to it, which was make sure that youre seen. And dont feel or become smaller because of your audience. Like, really harness it and use it as a positive, to get your name and your thoughts, out there.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Just go for it. Really, like, if you have any reservations to kind of work past them And try it. Like, you cant you dont know what you dont know. So, like, you cant wait until you're 100 you feel 100% ready. I think some of the biggest opportunities in my career was from saying Yes, before I even had all the answers. And, like, that growth part happens when you're willing to kind of step outside of your comfort zone, to learn it and adapt and to trust yourself. And, like, you can You can do it.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think it is the ever-moving, landscape. So, when I think of that, it's I think I just said AI, right? Like, a year ago, I would never have asked myself a question of, have I done a website rebuild? Of course Ive done a website rebuild and professionally in my career, but have you ever done a website rebuild with AI? So, its like true and a lot of the answers are going to be no now. And its really what truly is starting to drive that business value. So, AI, new technologies, you know, thats changing also with the customer behavior. So because of all of these, updates or new technology pieces. It's transforming how the customer behaves, which then transform how our brand, or how your company connects with the audience.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

For work collaboration, I think the best ideas come from bringing everybody together. I value building relationships and partnerships in work and personal. So collaboration kind of goes back to your curiosity, never stop wanting to, like, step into learning, whatever it is. Like, were in the AI world right now, so its, you know, really taking a hold of those marketing strategies and understanding the different parts parts of things, so curiosity would be it. Collaboration, integrity.
