About Bryanna
Bryanna Bland has built a distinguished career in aviation aerospace, drawing from a lifelong passion that began at age three when her grandfather took her to McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis. With 21 years in the field, she served in the Navy as an aviation jet engine mechanic before transitioning to Boeing, where she spent seven years advancing from quality inspector to quality management and program oversight roles. Seeking to step back from management, Bland is now transitioning to a new position focused on project control, scheduling, and meeting strict Department of Defense deadlines. She holds a degree in psychology and business management, which she applies to understanding team dynamics and running operations effectively. A certified single-engine pilot, Bland is an active member of EAA, Sister of the Skies, and the 99s women's aviation community. In January 2025, she founded the Mini Mountain flight club, a youth aviation nonprofit that uses STEM to inspire the next generation. As a Black woman in a male-dominated industry, she remains committed to encouraging others through her work and volunteer efforts.
