Cait Masters
Cait Masters is a dedicated behavioral science professional and graduate student at the University of West Florida, currently pursuing her M.S. in Behavior Analysis on a Thesis Track. With a B.S. in Pre-Medicine and a minor in Psychology from the University of Dayton, Cait has cultivated a robust foundation in research, clinical practice, and student mentorship. Her experience spans working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), adults over 65, and providing direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Cait’s work emphasizes evidence-based approaches, trauma-informed care, and inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming practices.
In addition to her clinical experience, Cait has held multiple leadership roles in higher education, including serving as a Graduate Assistant for Housing and Residence Life at UWF. She has coordinated large-scale student programs, supervised student staff, and led initiatives such as Campus Safety Week, demonstrating a strong commitment to student engagement, leadership development, and community building. Cait also balances her academic and professional pursuits with creative endeavors, curating a Spotify playlist with over 12,000 followers and providing exposure for hundreds of artists across genres.
Cait’s overarching goal is to integrate clinical practice with academia, ultimately becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a professor of Clinical Psychology. Her work reflects a dedication to ethical integrity, lifelong learning, and collaborative mentorship. Whether in research, student engagement, or clinical settings, Cait is passionate about fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful impact for the individuals and communities she serves.
