Ten minutes with Caitlin

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my parents who modeled pursuing dreams and hard work, putting God at the forefront of everything, and my husband who has always supported and pushed me to take opportunities even when I was nervous.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Follow your dreams even if healthcare gets a bad rap for being hard work. Respiratory therapy is a specialized field with many avenues like leadership, pulmonary rehab, asthma clinics, bedside care, newborn care in C-sections and NICUs. Never stop learning, never become complacent, always grow the grass that you're in because culture is everything.
