Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a deep commitment to people. At the center of my approach is a belief that real success happens when the people around you are also thriving—personally and professionally. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on understanding the human side of every challenge and creating environments where people can succeed and grow. Even during the most difficult moments, that perspective has kept me grounded. When your focus is on improving people’s lives and helping them win, it brings clarity, purpose, and resilience to everything you do.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to always lead with people in mind. Success isn’t just about hitting goals or reaching the next milestone—it’s about the impact you have on the people around you. When you focus on helping others grow, creating opportunities, and lifting people up along the way, everything else tends to follow. That perspective has guided me through every stage of my career, especially during challenging moments. It reminds me that leadership is ultimately about service, empathy, and creating space for others to succeed.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to stay resilient and never hesitate to use your voice. Speak up, share your perspective, and trust that your ideas have value—even if you’re not completely certain you have the “right” answer. Just as important is building a strong network of women who support and challenge you. Surround yourself with female leaders and mentors who can guide you, advocate for you, and share their experiences. I’ve been fortunate to have incredible women in different areas of my life who helped shape my journey, and their support and insight played a huge role in where I am today.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in education technology today is balancing innovation with what schools truly need to operate effectively. Parents are more discerning, demographics are shifting, and schools are under increasing pressure to demonstrate value. At the same time, rapid advancements—especially with AI—are introducing a wave of new solutions that can sometimes feel like the next “shiny object.”

The real opportunity is helping schools navigate that landscape thoughtfully. While newer technologies are exciting, solutions that have supported schools for decades bring a depth of experience and understanding that’s critical to long-term success. The key is striking the right balance—embracing innovation while ensuring schools adopt technology that is proven, sustainable, and built around the realities of the communities they serve

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me most are belief, integrity, and responsibility to the people around me. I believe deeply in the good in people and in the power of giving others something meaningful to believe in—whether that’s a mission, a community, or their own potential. In my professional life, I see leadership as creating an environment where people feel empowered to believe in something bigger than themselves, to believe in their own abilities, and to trust in the direction we’re building together.

At home, those same values shape how I show up for my family—encouraging confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose. Whether in work or in life, I believe the most meaningful impact comes from helping people see what’s possible in themselves and in the world around them
