Her Story
About Callie
I'm graduating from Tri-Star with my legal entities program and currently work for the Domestic Relations Court in downtown Cleveland. I earned my bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in 2024. Throughout my educational journey, I've gained valuable work experience, including 2 years with the City of Independence and 3 years at Great Wolf Lodge. I bounced around a bit while finishing school, balancing multiple responsibilities to complete my education. Right now, I'm actively looking for employment as a paralegal to officially begin my career outside of my internship. As a single mother who had my son 3 months ago, I've learned to work around challenges and stay focused on my goals, proving that it's possible to achieve what you set your mind to regardless of the obstacles you face.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Honestly, I think it's best that you review all your options before entering the field. I think it's important that you have a good mindset. No matter where you are, it's possible. I have a kid right now. I had him 3 months ago, and I'm still able to work around and do what I'm supposed to do. I think it's really just important to know that you can complete anything you put your mind to, no matter what obstacles you have.
