Her Interview
Ten minutes with Callie
01What do you attribute your success to?
My success is based on loving people, wanting to serve, and wanting people to belong. And knowing that wellness is more than just physical wellness, it's emotional wellness too.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is to keep going. When I get discouraged about being in business, my community is like, no, what do you need? Keep going. They believe in the work I'm doing. Surround yourself with people who see you and believe in you.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Prepare for what they want to do, and that starts with getting your finances in order. It seems like an overnight success but it's not. Don't give up, because the desire that you have is leading you towards your purpose.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is marketing, like making sure people know that I'm here and I'm available. It's finding the balance and doing all the things while being a small business.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Quality time with family and friends. Not regretting that I missed time with someone I loved because I was working. I help people with a lot of work-life balance.
